Kahlia joined Tompkins Wake in 2019 as a law clerk in our environmental management team. After being admitted to the Bar in November 2020, Kahlia spent a year in our property team based in our Rotorua office and gained experience advising and assisting clients with residential conveyancing matters. In 2022, Kahlia rejoined our environment and resource management team.

Her time assisting with residential conveyancing has given Kahlia knowledge of easements, encumbrances, LIM reports and other property related matters which complement her work in the resource management and local government sectors. Kahlia also has practical experience in resource management and compliance from her time as a summer intern for a forestry company prior to joining Tompkins Wake.
