Qualifications : BCom, LLB, University of Otago.

Emily joined Tompkins Wake in 2015 as a graduate in our Property and Private Client Teams. Emily specialises in all aspects of property transactions including subdivisions, rural property, agribusiness, trusts and asset protection and relationship property settlements.

With a particular focus on residential subdivisions and development, Emily works with major developers in the Waikato and Northland on complex development projects involving 800 plus sections. She was a key member of the team who worked on the first stage of the Rangitahi Development in Raglan, involving 85 sections within a larger 550 section project.

Emily is from a farming background. She applies that knowledge and experience to her advice on acquisitions/dispositions within the primary sector. Some more notable transactions run into the tens of millions of dollars, with a recent project in excess of $60m.
