Tompkins Wake welcomes new partner

Tompkins Wake has welcomed Michael Shanahan to the firm's partnership, with the experienced corporate lawyer joining their Auckland office.

"We're delighted to have Mike join our growing team in Auckland as we extend our reach into New Zealand's commercial hub," said chief executive Jon Calder. 

"Michael joins us at an exciting time as the firm continues to expand and grow across the Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions."

Initially spending five years with one of New Zealand’s leading national commercial firms, Michael then moved to London where he worked in the corporate department of Mayer Brown. Upon his return to New Zealand, he joined a boutique commercial law firm as a partner. 

Tompkins Wake has added three new Partners and two Special Counsel to its Auckland office since November last year.
